Water Level Controller for Sump and Overhead Tank

• The overhead tank overflows because the motor was left on.
• The sump runs empty while the motor is still on, and the motor runs dry, which is how pump seals and windings are damaged.

• A radar sensor on the overhead tank reads the level from above the water, with nothing in the tank to scale or stick.
• The motor stops at the level you set, below the overflow pipe.
• A maximum run time stops the motor if the tank never fills, for example because the sump is empty.
• If the tank sensor stops sending readings, the motor stays off.
• The motor can also run to a schedule, to match corporation water timings.
