Tamil Nadu bills domestic supply every two months. The units used in the cycle are split into slabs and each slab is charged at its own rate. If the cycle total is 500 units or less, the first 200 units are free. Above 500, only the first 100 are free and every slab is charged.
Crossing 500 units moves the whole cycle to the higher regime: units 101 to 200 stop being free and are charged too. At the preset rates, unit 501 adds about ₹478 on its own.
Bimonthly. Enter the units for the two-month billing cycle shown on your bill, or switch to monthly and the calculator doubles it.
The preset follows the published LT-1A domestic table effective 10 May 2026. Tariffs are revised and published tables do not always agree, so compare with the rates on your own bill and edit them in the calculator.
